Love at First Carrot
A small farm growing food for their customers and their families, Daigle Farm is picture of small-scale agriculture in Connecticut at its finest. Daigle Farm’s slogan “Simply Growing Food” is exactly what it means. Large-scale agriculture has its place, and so does smaller farms like this.
Working the garden as an intern, Cassidy got to know Farmer Dillon amidst cultivating the earth and harvesting the farm’s bounty. They fell in love while serving the mission of “Simply Growing Food.” Their love for eachother, and love for farming, is manifested in the abundance grown from the land. From delicious carrots and gorgeous cabbages like the one used for my estate editorial fashion shoot, to pork, chicken, and turkey, their community of customers purchase weekly delivery of farm-grown groceries, and families visit weekends to select their produce and other farm goods.
There’s never a dull moment on a farm. At Daigle Farm, there’s excitement and joy from planting to harvest.
