My friends Cass and Dillon knew of each other for awhile, but when Cass started her internship at Daigle Farm, it became more than a love for learning how to grow vegetables.

Network with professionals in the produce industry at the NEPC show. Having spent 4 years at a college surrounded by wheat and lentil fields in Idaho, and 20+ years working with cows, I thought I would attend to get more familiar with the produce industry. Vegetables and fruits are visually interesting: reds and blues shine in the sun, crispy grains, splashes of water, sweet aromas. Check out some of my pics and notes from this 2026 show!

Vogue Magazine dubbed cabbage as the “vegetable of year”. So of course I couldn’t resist integrating a freshly picked cabbage into this luxury editorial photo shoot! A historic garden estate, a stunning model in a flowing yellow chiffon gown, and a cabbage bouquet creates an imaginative blend of things I love: elegant couture and agriculture.

Approach Since I had photographed cranberries being harvested from a bog, I wanted to complete the story by showing the final destination of cranberries: the table. Collaborating with food & prop stylist Julia Viniczay, we planned a holiday themed shoot featuring cranberries.
